It seems that businesses in Taiwan love to market their products in pink in the hope of attracting the teenage market. In my latest wander around my local 7-11 convenience store I saw these ice tea and coffee. The brand on the right, with its simple and sleek bottles is a popular local brand. The different colour bottles contains different flavours, and last month they launched a rose honey milk tea flavour in a pink bottle. Initially it was always out of stock, and when people finally got their hands on a bottle it turned out to be quite a disappointment. The pink bottle on the left is another new brand, probably trying to capitalise on the first brand.
However, its not just local Taiwanese brands that employ these marketing tactics for the teenage market. Has anyway seen or tried cherry blossom apple cider by Strongbow before ?
